Getting Scammed

I have always heard that I need to be careful when I'm looking for a domain because it's easy to get scammed. Have you ever been scammed when purchasing a domain? Is it really that easy for them to get you?

No, and you know I have never considered it a risk either. I've only gone through big companies or directly through the hosting company as I was signing up and it all seemed ok so I didn't even look at alternatives.

It's good to hear that it's not so much a problem anymore. I am always worried about getting scammed somewhere down the line, I deal with so many websites it's something that I always keep in the back of my mind.

It has never even crossed my mind--I can be so naive at times. I've don't know anyone who has been scammed, neither have I heard of it happening; I guess it's really not that prominent, which is good.

I have never heard of being scammed when buying a domain name. I didn't even know it was possible. I guess with everything on the internet there is a chance that someone can try to trick you.

you allways have to take care, or register it with a company that you trust or also take pictures and screenshots and print them also.
If you google you will find alot of stories about it also with big registering companies.

We have alot of clients that have moved all they domains to us after they had such problems.

good luck!

The question is to find the right web hosting company IMO. That's not very easy.

Ryan is right. You could sell your possessions on Ebay or a similar trader site, or create your own website. You may need a few business classes or read some books on business to assist yourself in management.
